Short-Term Stay After Hospital Admission
Patients that have been admitted to a hospital for a minimum of three nights may have the option for a short-term stay in our center to receive 24-hour Nursing care and Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy up to seven-days each week. Patients may also request a short-term Respite in-patient stay for periods of a few days to several months.

In-Patient Residential Stay
Patients that require a permanent in-patient stay may be admitted from the Hospital, Assisted Living Facility or Home after receiving an admission order from their primary physician.

Specialty Programs

[review] => I chose Zebulon Rehab for my dad after a hospital stay, and it turned out to be a great decision. It was the only place on the list of possibilities that had decent rating and reviews, but our experience was even better than I had hoped. The staff is, without exception, absolutely wonderful. They showed a deep level of care and caring from the moment we got there to the day we left. Everyone is engaged and active in caring for patients, and the vibe is always positive and energetic. I chose Zebulon Rehab despite it not being very convenient (30 minute drive), but it was well worth the extra gas to know he was well taken care of. Highly, highly recommended!

[review] => In the beginning I was pleased with my care. I was on my way to recovery with PT. I had a positive outlook with PT, but was abruptly discharged too early. All the PT employees were pleasant to work with. My husband was called 3 times that morning to come get me by 10amwas there 12 days & to come & pick me up. She was very rude to him. Nurses & PT were very pleasant. Might want to rethink Pam's assessment of patients.

[review] => I broke my hip and had to have rehab. I was admitted and my family came the next day and brought me food for the next two days. I had the updated Covid shot in the hospital before being transported. Well after 2 days there they put me in quarantine for two weeks. No visitors or outside food. That quarantine also included no physical therapy.

[review] => my dad went there after being in the hospital just for 3 broken ribs. he was in great physical condition because he walked 2 miles every morning. well they were doping him up, did not clean his bladder bag he had on n he died 5 days later!!!!
this place did not care at all. my sister was the one to call the rescue squad n he was taken straight to the hospital n he had sepsis from his not clean bladder bag.
I would not recommend them for any knid of treatment!!!

[review] => My husband was a patient at Zebulon Rehab, everyone there is top notch, the CNA’s were amazing in his care, the LPN’s and RN’s were equally wonderful. He loved the Physical therapy and Occupational therapy staff, they were very thorough. I would love to name individual names but I am afraid I would forget someone and I would not want to hurt feelings. From the Director to the Social Worker, they were a caring love, supportive team and I can’t thank them enough for their support. Zebulon Rehab is truly the best.

[review] => Stay away from Zebulon Rehab!!! My dad was there for 24 hours!!! He fell twice and had to be sent to the ER. The staff seems incredible/caring when you are looking at the facility, but once you are there they do a 180 degree turn. I am still waiting for a callback from Christy (Admissions) after my dad's second fall. After the first fall, I called the nurse and she said she my dad was doing fine and she just gave him insulin. I was livid, I said my dad does not take insulin. She then put me on hold and said she thought I was someone else. To top it off, they had my dad's name flipped. I corrected them four times and they never changed it. Once I went to the ER, the records were all messed up. It took forever to get the insurance cleared.

[review] => Our family's experience at Zebulon Rehab has been nothing short of excellent. Our loved one has been a resident there for nearly 2 years and everyone, from administration to the rehab and nursing staff, has been unwavering in providing a clean, safe and homey environment while also ensuring professional clinical care. The staff is nurturing and engaged-on nearly every visit we are greeted in the hallway and updated on our mother's care by either the Administrator, the Director of Nursing or the social worker. Of course, none of this matters if our mother is not content and comfortable...and it gives us great comfort in knowing that she most certainly is.

They’re always kind, empathetic and willing to go above and beyond for their patients and they extend that kindness to the family members as well. When we brought him hone , he started hurting that night and when we brought a nurse in from Kindred home health care, she checked his catheter and we found out it was very nasty and the nurse informed us that it was old and had not been changed in a long time. The CNA'S there are very nice and helpful but the nurses and physical therapists don't show compassion or proper care.

[review] => Catheter changes go well beyond the recommended 2 to 4 weeks; latex used on patients with latex allergies; feeding tube turned black - tested at hospital lab - fungal found from improper care; do not change patient diapers timely; receive phone calls from family member at all hours of the day and night because of pain and/or dirty diapers; repeated problem with theft; some of the nurses are just down right rude and have no business in healthcare. Have brought these problems to management repeatedly and nothing changes.The people that have been there that actually do care about the patients and are qualified don't stay because management is so unresponsive. I wouldn't want these people to pet sit my dog.

Hi this is Hemaxi iwas in this rehab center. When I went there iwas not able to stand but P.T therapist give me good therapist snd Iam able to walk today OT therapist give me all challenges therapi do I can walk even without walker stleadt 40 steps slso both therapist give me good therapi do Iam able to walk and I came home and I went climb my stairways and take shower!! They have very good therapist. Excellent service !! Iam do Hsppy do I reach my goals Thsnks all therspist

Everything and more in this superb rehab center with the staff dedicated to your health and well being…..and for Sandra, Director of Nursing , who is the reason the patient feels like they have a family member beside them and to the exceptional OT/Pt staff who gave so much to get me walking again!!!
